சத்தீஸ்கர் மாநிலம் பஸ்தர் பகுதியில் ராணுவ வீரர்களுடன் பிரதமர் மோடி தீபாவளி கொண்டாடினார். நக்சலிசத்திற்கு எதிரான போராட்டம் குறித்து அவர் பேசியுள்ளார்.
சத்தீஸ்கர் மாநிலம் பாஸ்தர் பகுதியில் ராணுவ வீரர்களுடன் பிரதமர் மோடி இன்று தீபாவளி கொண்டாடினார். பிரதமராக பதவியேற்று 2014 தொடங்கி 2026 வரை 13 தீபாவளிகளை ராணுவ வீரர்களுடன் கொண்டாடியுள்ளார். மோடி நாட்டின் பிரதமராகப் பொறுப்பேற்றது முதல் இன்று வரை அவர், டெல்லியில் உள்ள தனது அதிகாரப்பூர்வ இல்லத்தில் தீபாவளியைக் கொண்டாடவில்லை. மாறாக, ராணுவ வீரர்களுடனேயே ஒவ்வொரு தீபாவளியையும் கொண்டாடி வருகிறார்.
அந்த வகையில், சத்தீஸ்கர் மாநிலம், பஸ்தர் பகுதியில் உள்ள ராணுவ வீரர்களுடன் இந்த தீபாவளியை பிரதமர் மோடி கொண்டாடி மகிழ்ந்தார். பின்னர் நிகழ்வில் அவர் பேசும்போது, “ஒரு காலத்தில் நக்ஸலிசம் கோலோச்சிய இந்த பகுதி இன்று வளர்ச்சியடைந்து வருகிறது. மாவோயிச பயங்கரவாதத்திற்கும் நக்சலிசத்திற்கும் எதிரான போராட்டம் எளிதான ஒன்றல்ல.
நக்சலைட்டுகள் மக்களின் வாக்குரிமையைக் கூட பறித்திருந்தனர். ஒரே ஆண்டில் சுமார் 2,000 நக்சல் தாக்குதல்கள் நடந்தன. 2010-ஆம் ஆண்டில், அருகிலுள்ள தண்டேவாடாவில் நக்சலைட்டுகளுடன் நடந்த மோதலில், நமது சிஆர்பிஎஃப் (CRPF) வீரர்கள் 76 பேர் வீரமரணம் அடைந்தனர். அதே ஆண்டில் தண்டேவாடாவில் நடந்த மற்றொரு சம்பவத்தில், அப்பாவி பொதுமக்கள் 44 பேர் கொல்லப்பட்டனர். இந்த நிலம் நமது வீரர்களின் இரத்தத்தால் நனைந்திருந்தது. ஆனால், அரண்மனைகளில் வாழ்ந்த செல்வாக்கு மிக்க தலைவர்களிடமிருந்து துயரத்தின் குரல் எதுவுமே ஒலிக்கவில்லை; அவர்கள் ஒரு துளி கண்ணீரும் சிந்தவில்லை.

This land was soaked in the blood of our brave soldiers. But not a single voice of anguish was heard from those influential leaders living in their palaces. Not a single tear was shed by them. Such attacks continued to take place somewhere or the other almost every day. This continued for decades. During this period, more than 1,000 security personnel were martyred in Chhattisgarh alone. If you look at the figures from 2004 to 2013, you will find that every year, the number of our brave soldiers martyred was higher than the number of Naxalites killed. Unfortunately, the governments of that time treated Naxalism as an incurable disease and left it unaddressed…No country can function with an approach that simply accepts that things will continue this way in the face of its enemies.”(Source: DD)

இத்தகைய தாக்குதல்கள் கிட்டத்தட்ட ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் எங்கோ ஒரு இடத்தில் தொடர்ந்து நடந்துகொண்டே இருந்தன. இது பல தசாப்தங்களாக நீடித்தது. இந்த காலகட்டத்தில், சத்தீஸ்கரில் மட்டும் 1,000-க்கும் மேற்பட்ட பாதுகாப்புப் படையினர் வீரமரணம் அடைந்தனர். 2004 முதல் 2013 வரையிலான புள்ளிவிவரங்களைப் பார்த்தால், ஒவ்வொரு ஆண்டும் கொல்லப்பட்ட நக்சலைட்டுகளின் எண்ணிக்கையை விட, வீரமரணம் அடைந்த நமது வீரர்களின் எண்ணிக்கை அதிகமாக இருந்ததைக் காணலாம். துரதிர்ஷ்டவசமாக, அக்கால அரசாங்கங்கள் நக்சலிசத்தை ஒரு குணப்படுத்த முடியாத நோயாகக் கருதி, அதைக் கண்டுகொள்ளாமல் விட்டுவிட்டன… எதிரிகளை எதிர்கொள்ளும்போது, நிலைமை இப்படியேதான் தொடரும் என்று அமைதியாக ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு செயல்படும் எந்தவொரு நாடும் நீடித்து நிலைக்க முடியாது.” என்றார்.
